# CryptoRoute

> CryptoRoute is a non-custodial, route-specific cross-chain crypto swap engine built on the NEAR Intents (1Click) settlement layer. It shows a live quote with one all-in rate for a swap between assets on different blockchains and tracks the swap wallet-to-wallet. No account and no identity KYC are required for standard swaps, and CryptoRoute never holds user funds or private keys.

- Non-custodial: CryptoRoute never holds, controls, or has access to user funds or private keys.
- Swaps are executed by the NEAR Intents (1Click) settlement protocol; the per-swap deposit address is generated by the execution provider, not by CryptoRoute.
- No account or identity KYC is required for standard swaps; screening is risk-based at the address and jurisdiction level.
- One all-in service fee is shown in every quote before sending (standard rate 0.50%; any route-specific pricing appears in the quote itself); network fees are included in the quoted output.
- Coverage: 43+ blockchains, 30+ tokens, 6466+ swap routes (approximate and growing).
- If a cross-chain swap cannot complete, funds are returned only to the user-supplied refund address on the origin network; swaps started without an account additionally require the one-time claim secret issued at swap creation.
- Swap initiation is blocked from comprehensively sanctioned jurisdictions, and deposit/payout addresses are screened against sanctions and illicit-activity databases (KYT).
- CryptoRoute Pay lets merchants accept crypto via hosted invoices, reusable payment links, and a REST API; the default service fee is 1%.
